COURSE INSTRUCTOR (CLASSROOM)


Location: National and International

Job Level: Advanced


Position Summary

In partnership with our clients, instructor will be the direct key to creating a successful outcome in the education of our clients’ employee populations in learning Oil and Gas Production and Exploration Skills.


Job Functions

  • Develops materials and delivers oil & gas programs in support of training objectives.
  • Provide courses contents and objectives; if required.
  • Conducts sessions and provide feedback for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
  • Maintains current knowledge of oil gas industry as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Understanding the industry training needs along with an understanding of the technological developments and global trends for oil and gas onshore/offshore.

  • Experience in implementing training techniques and convey practical knowledge (theory and primarily hands on applications) to participants of both technical and nontechnical backgrounds.
  • Ability to work with plant personnel to generate training endeavors between the Oil and Gas program and industry and to coordinate schedules and course feedback.
  • Practical experience as an engineer or specialist.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering, Geology or equivalent.
  • Min. 8 years of verified work experience in the oil & gas industry.
  • M.Sc. and/or PhD. are significant plus points.
  • +10 years of verified work experience in the oil & gas industry is preferred.
  • Experience in instructing international courses and teaching for universities is a plus point.

Courses Schedule and Conditions.

Typically, courses are executed from 5 pm to 8 (or 9) pm (continues) during the normal working days or weekends. N.B. course timing can be dynamic if other times are more suitable to both the instructor and attendees.
